Out With The Old In With The New?
I say, Out With The Old In With The Old! Vintage has become the “new chic” for a couple of years now, having many adepts around the world which are looking for unique pieces to define their personal style. As the complete anti-thesis of fashion trends and movements, the Vintage has given a voice to those wishing to express something different.
I once read a very funny quote: “Vintage is just the cool word for old”!
Many Vintage stores have opened and are opening all around the world and must say that while some aren’t attractive with strong smell and clothes in a mess, some stand out from others as charming places in which one dives back into time… And it is exactly how I would describe the store “Les Fripeuses” in Geneva. Which is why I decided to feature pieces from the store every week in this new feature “The Vintage Corner”.
